CITY OF SAN FERNANDO—The Laus Mazda Group (Mazda Pampanga and Mazda Tarlac) were crowned champion of Bermaz Auto Philippines’ (BAP) fifth Maztech Philippines Customer Service Skills Competition held November 17 at the Axon-Green Sun Hotel in Makati City.

The competition which is open to nationwide distributors of Mazda aims to promote team work that showcases the skills in both sales and after service of ersonnel by honing their knowledge for excellent Mazda Quality Service process in our country.
Mazda Philippines’ showroom network sent their sales consultants to compete in a written examination and the top five advanced to the sales walk-around competition.

This is the second time that it was included in this year’s competition to raise the quality of standards by coaching on how to deal, handle and experience with ease customer service.

At the latter part of the skills competition, qualified service advisors and customers relations representatives underwent scenarios through role-playing to assess how they handle client procedures.

In this group challenge, they were accompanied by parts advisors and warranty administrators to test their skills in forecasting, warranty processing, scope and limitation under various practical and theoretical applications.

The main challenge where 24 service technicians competed in a quiz bee covering their expertise in technicalities and end it through role-playing activity such as to troubleshooting man-made faults, merited the grand prize and received P25,000 worth of gift certificates, a medal and trophy.

The Laus Mazda Group was once again victorious as they brought back for the second time the perpetual trophy.

Mazda Pampanga and Mazda Tarlac won the 2018 Mazda Technicians Over All Champion and Perpetual Trophy; Mazda Pampanga for Parts Advisor Over All Champion; Mazda Pampanga as first runner up on DCRC Category; Mazda Pampanga as second runner up for Service Advisor Category; while Mazda Pampanga’s sales consultants ranked fourth and fifth place in the Sales Olympic Category.
